So I’m at the main fire station of my Fire Department and unlike my station there are 5 apparatus (trucks) here (my station has 1). Originally here to do some training it’s turned out to be a pretty busy day so I’m on standby prepared to go on calls.
While waiting, the television is on. Not having cable TV at home and as I seldom watch it elsewhere I’ve never realized how stupid it is. While it’s possible TV isn’t totally responsible for the dumbing down of people it’s very evident that it contributes (a lot).
In fact, I can feel my brain getting mushy as I type dis hear poost.
