More Protesting

The person that’s protesting the condos across the street has placed some more protesters out. This time I was able to get pictures of his poster board signs.

Click on the picture for a high definition view(broadband connection recommended. Or, if you're on dial-up go get a beer)

The sign on the left says, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that “Greene [sic] Latrine” ” with what may be cyrillic letters underneath.  The one on the right says, “That “Greene Latrine” Trash Building Acrost [sic] the road makes “White Trash” Look Like The Junior League” ”

Look on top of the white van.  Here’s a better view …

As construction near completion on the condos he’s getting more and more demonstrative.  Hopefully it won’t get ugly and/or violent.  Right now it’s only entertaining.

Hey Jacque, you should give us a quick shot of the “Green Latrine” for a little context. I want to see if it’s really as bad as the wacky yard decorator thinks it is.

  2. jacque says:

Good point Jason, I’ll do that within the next couple of days.

I’m trying to decide which would be worse. Would I rather have a giant condo in my neighborhood or a grumpy, old man with leather clad and child mannequins “acrost” the street? Tough call.

  4. jacque says:

I think the mannequins would be better than a “green latrine”. At least they change.

Who knows if it’s a old man or not? It may be a guy in his 30′s(?) from Mississippi.

I work near this house. He is a social worker who councils children. It is not the kind of thing I want in my neighborhood.
