Actually I have 6 talented daughters. But this post is about Orianna. She has an artistic talent that I haven’t seen since my Sister Vickie. I remember asking Vic about her talent and her modest reply was “I took a few art classes”. Ok, well I could take a hundred art classes and it’d still look like an 8 year-old drew something after drinking a quad mocha.
Let’s talk about Onna. Onna turns 14 this year (or maybe next) and has been home schooled till now. Like Vic, she has a natural talent.
Cute? Yes. Now, at 13 (or maybe 14) a real talent is beginning to show.
One day while at Fresh Abundance she noticed a stack of really long twist ties that are used to hold lettuce and such together.
It’s difficult to tell in the post, but the one on the right is a guy petting a dog.
And for your viewing pleasure here’s a pic that *I* did. (with a little help from Microsoft Paint)
What say you?
Till later,
Jacque – Out

Rink, I seriously think Orianna has some talent there! She knows form and spacial relationship which is a critical part of being an artist. Those scuptures are especially cool. The drawing has some especially large eyeballs. Maybe that is how she views the world, eyes wide open!
P.S. Hey, don’t knock the fact you can’t draw. You are extremely creative which I, dear brother, am lacking!
Onna’a Art is wonderful! Jacque’s art is at least a recognizable object, I think.
